Having one of my paintings used for a custom scoliosis brace is one of the most unusual requests I have ever received. The patient wanted to use my original painting, titled Free Spirit, as the design for her brace. ScoliCare, an Australian company known for custom bracing, enthusiastically agreed to do it. I am honored to have my art offered as a choice for a custom brace design for this patient and for others in the future. It’s extremely gratifying if my art can help improve a patient’s experience.
