This is the last painting in the series of 9 that I call Waters Edge. I painted them for the Waterfront Art show that I will be attending as a vendor on July 29th and 30th in Webster, NY. The show grounds are located in a park near Lake Ontario, one of the five Great Lakes in North America. I live on a lake and my love of the water inspires many of my paintings. I created the texture in this painting by arranging individual strands of burlap on the surface to give it a feeling of undulating water. These paintings can be purchased individually or in groupings since they complement each other. I personally like them in groupings of three.
