Acrylic on Cradled wood panel 8 inches x 8 inches Sold
I created this pair of 8 × 8 mixed-media paintings while experimenting with a new technique that gives the surfaces a weathered, antique appearance. Layers of color and texture create a sense of history, while touches of metallic gold add warmth, richness and a subtle shimmer. The process was one of exploration and discovery, allowing unexpected effects to become part of the finished work.
